Dorothy, I just now saw this--one week later after you posted! Your consistency in your own process is anything BUT pathetic. There was a time that the child truly believed what she did. What matters is how, with time and careful loving attention, you have "reconciled" with her and with your mother. Your priceless photographs have helped you to do so. Can I say, I envy that you have an historical record? (as for my family, most all the photos were lost in the family drama/trauma) You are one of my best examples of how to "crone". Love❣️

I would never think you pathetic, but I vulnerable is beautiful.
I think of vulnerable as being a strong enough to share, with special people.
I too have embraced the younger me. I think we have a lot of similarities Dorothy.
I am so honored to have got to meet you, even if not in person. Someday.
